Collective Worship

Every school is required by law to provide a daily act of collective worship for all pupils, although the whole school need not be together for this. We meet together as a whole group three days a week and in smaller groups on the remaining two. Assemblies are led by children, teachers, Head or visitors. There are frequently discussions, prayers, singing, poetry, music or stories. Each class prepares a special assembly during the year when parents are welcome to join us.

Parents who wish to withdraw their children from R.E. or collective worship may discuss this with the headteacher in order that alternative provision may be made.
