We aim to stimulate children's interest in their surroundings and in the variety of human and physical conditions on the Earth's surface.
The children begin by studying their immediate environment and will gradually gain a greater global perspective. They will study the complex interactions between people, localities and environmental factors. Children will be given opportunities to develop and use geographical enquiry skills including fieldwork, ICT, making and using maps, understanding photographs and geographical terms.
