Religious Education

Religious Education is planned to be relevant to children's age and experience, and is broadly Christian-based. Living in a multi-faith society we also aim to help children develop respect based on knowledge and appreciation of other people's beliefs. This would arise through study, genuine interactions with people of different faiths and visits to places of worship. Whilst we study similarities and differences between beliefs we also encourage an appreciation of principles that form the basis of the social and moral expectations we have of each other.
Our R.E. curriculum follows the agreed syllabus for Gloucestershire schools.
