World Awareness Week Year 2 Italy
Year 2 started the week learning Italian with Martin Whittle and practiced their newly found skills all week.
Their structured play area became a pizza parlour.

The smell of real pizza drifted through the school on Wednesday, part of the preparation for the masked ball. A glittering affair, starting with formal Italian dancing to the music of Vivaldi and finishing off with the children's school cooked pizza.
The children made collage pictures using a variety of pasta shapes.
The art of Michael Angelo was re-created in true style as the children lay on their backs to paint their pictures under the tables!
